The Old Village, Palia Alonnisos, where Elias House is situated, is a labyrinth of alleys and steep steps and its traditional houses are surrounded by vines and flowers. Because of the special location of the village (200 meters above sea level) it is known for its fantastic views in all directions. You can see a large part of the island from here, as well as the sea on both sides. There are numerous shops, taverns and coffee-bars open throughout the summer season and also a few grocery shops to meet your everyday need.
You can find us in ‘Gallery 5’ at the top of the village.
Patitiri is the main harbour and village of the island and here you can find all kinds of food stores, taverns, cafes and souvenir shops. There’s also a village beach with gravel and sand where you can swim and the water has the most green-blue colour.
Rousoum is the neighbouring bay to Patitiri. It consists of a nice beach with gravel and sand and is surrounded by rocks and pine trees hanging over the edges towards the water. Just behind the beach you’ll find several taverns and cafes. You can walk to Rousoum directly from Patitiri in about 10 minutes.
